Gregg’s Box of Flavour was a fun campaign site I completed while contracting at Us&Co. Gregg’s is a New Zealand–based company that offers a range of spices, coffees and cooking sauces. As part of a bigger customer engagement campaign, they'll send out hundreds of Boxes of Flavour—filled with Gregg’s products, recipe cards, coupons and gifts—to winners every month and invite them to upload a shot of their creations to Facebook & Instagram, where the site will track a hashtag and automatically fill a winner’s gallery.
One of the first tasks was to correct some issues with the campaign logo we were given. By resetting and properly kerning the type for improved rhythm, the logo scaled much better for digital use; and the woodcut highlight further improved legibility for the overlapping letters.
When the project started development, the above–the–line campaign assets were still being created. As an alternative, we decided on a 3D–rendered box with modeled products.
